Protecting the well-being of customers and employees is of great importance to us, particularly in times like these. To help control the spread of COVID-19, and to support social distancing, we strongly encourage you to leverage our call center which is open 7:30AM until 6:00PM M-F. Until further notice, we are restricting all branch services to DRIVE-UP ONLY (Walk-up will remain available in Saco & OOB offices). If you prefer, you may also utilize our night depository to drop off deposits. We will be accessing the night depository and processing these transactions throughout to day. Transactions that require branch entry such as safe deposit box will be performed by appointment only.
Setting and arriving at your appointment
To set your appointment, please contact Customer Care at 207-284-4591. You will be directed to the appropriate branch, and will be able to set an appointment with one of our branch representatives.
Once you have an appointment, please ring the outside doorbell when you arrive at the branch. An employee will greet you, provide you with a pump of hand sanitizer, and ask you a few questions regarding your recent exposures. Our staff will ask about any recent symptoms, travel history within the past 14 days, and determine if you have been in contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19. Once you are cleared, they will escort you to the appropriate department to serve you.
Protecting our employees
Our staff members have been frequently cleaning common areas, door handles, ATMs, and drive-up tubes. We have provided guidance to our staff to help promote good health, but, in the event an employee shows signs of illness, they are directed to stay home. Bank employees and customers are encouraged to follow the hygiene guidance released by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
What you can do
As a customer, there are many ways to help mitigate your risk. We encourage the use of our digital banking resources including online banking, mobile banking, and telebanker, as well as mobile deposit capture and several ATMs that accept cash or check deposits. If you do not have online banking, you can self-enroll through our website, or contact Customer Care at 207-284-4591 to assist you with the process. Our drive-up and walk-up facilities allow you opportunities to minimize contact if you so choose.
We also encourage the use of your Saco & Biddeford Savings debit card. According to the World Health Organization, it is prudent to avoid paying with cash, as it passes through many hands. Unlike cash, your card can be cleaned with a disinfecting wipe without causing harm to the card.
