Jeff Winnie, Loan Servicing/Collection Specialist, is celebrating his 5 year anniversary at Saco & Biddeford Savings!
“I grew up in Saco and I’ve been a member of the bank since I was a little boy. I even got my first car loan here many years ago. It feels like I’ve come full circle, and I love being able to support the community that has given so much to me.
My family is so important, and I love that SBSI is supportive in my efforts to keep them happy and healthy. If I need to attend an appointment for my son, or pick him up from daycare, they really do everything in their power to accommodate the unexpected things life throws my way.
With bigger companies, you just feel like a number — but I don’t feel that here. They treat you like family, and make you feel like you matter. I also really value the fact that the Bank is so community-oriented. SBSI makes it their mission to help those in need and goes out of their way to do so on a regular basis.
Working here has given me so many opportunities in life that I many not have had otherwise. I’ve made so many great friends from all over and volunteered for different causes; I’ve even been Nickles, our mascot, for a few events in the past.
In my spare time, I like to stay active. I’m a big fan of sports, particularly basketball and football. With our one-and-a-half year old son, my wife and I are always keeping busy. Most of the time we like to go places together as a family and teach him new things. With a career at SBSI, I’m able to balance the important things in life, and I’m so grateful for that.”
