Join the Heart of Biddeford from 5:30 - 7:30PM for the annual Downtown Holiday Festival!

The evening will feature a visit from the jolly old elf Santa, a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas carols, and plenty of fun and performances, games and activities.

Of course, it wouldn't be the holidays without shopping! A map of the downtown will be provided for those in search of the perfect holiday gifts at Biddeford's many retail establishments!

Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern-day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF.

The 10th Seaside Santa Dash is here! DECEMBER 2, 2023 AT 10AM.  

Get your JOLLY on for the Holidays! You’ll run along the beaches and roads of the Kennebunks of Maine for the 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run and Elf Dash all out of LIVE Catering. 

With registration you get a race bib, race tee (if registered by 10/15/23) AND 1 Shipyard beer. Shipyard Prelude Winter Warmer will be featured at LIVE Catering for the race. If you register by 9/15/23 you'll receive a FREE SANTA SUIT or ELF Suit!

This year’s 23rd Annual Atlantic Plunge will be at 11 AM Monday, January 1, 2024 (storm date Sunday, January 7) at Gooch’s Beach in Kennebunk.

This year’s Atlantic Plunge comes at a time when support for Caring Unlimited’s services is critical. Survivors in our community are continuing to experience high levels of risk and are facing complicated barriers to increasing their safety and planning for their future. The extent of survivors’ needs has meant that Carling Unlimited is called to do more than ever to help survivors access safety.

Taking part in the Atlantic Plunge will help Caring Unlimited address the significant needs of survivors of domestic violence as we enter the new year.

Winterfest 2024 is happening February 9th - 11th! This cabin-fever busting weekend of events and activities celebrates community and all things winter fun from sledding and skating to musical performances and delicious comfort food.
