Mobile wallets are the newest way to make payments without having to carry your wallet with you.
With Android Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay, you can make payments from a secure app anywhere that mobile payments are accepted. You can use your Saco & Biddeford Savings Debit MasterCard® on all three of these major mobile wallets!

What do I need in order to use my SBSI debit card with a Mobile Wallet?
You will need a supported device for the Mobile Wallet (Apple Pay, Android Pay, or Samsung Pay) you are using. Please refer to your Mobile Wallet provider to verify whether or not your device is supported. HSA cards issued by Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution are not currently supported with any of our Mobile Wallets.
How do I add my SBSI debit card to the Mobile Wallet?
Please open the Mobile Wallet on your device and find the option that allows you to add your card to the wallet. It is often found by pressing the (+) on the wallet’s homepage. Follow the wallet’s instructions for capturing an image of the card and validating the information. If further validation is needed, you will be prompted to contact Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution in order to complete the activation process.
How do I use my SBSI debit card with a Mobile Wallet?
The Mobile Wallet can be used in supported stores or within supported apps on your device. Please refer to your wallet provider for stores that support your wallet, or look for the wallet’s logo (or ask the sales associate) at checkout. To use, simply select the card you would like to use for the transaction, use your device’s Touch ID or passcode to authenticate the transaction, and hold your mobile device near the merchant’s transaction reader.
How secure are Mobile Wallets?
Every Mobile Wallet transaction requires the use of the device’s Touch ID or a passcode. The transaction is processed using a token in place of the card number, so your card information isn’t passed to the merchant. In addition, card information is not stored on your device.
What if my device is lost or stolen?
Each of the Mobile Wallet providers has a Device Manager or Find My Device app which allows you to suspend or permanently remove the ability to use that device with your SBSI debit card. You may also call Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution’s Customer Care Department at 207-284-4591 or toll free at 1-877-722-6243 to suspend or remove your wallet’s access to your SBSI debit card.
