Shredding Event

Our commitment to protecting the public from identity theft.

One of the best ways to protect against identity theft is by properly disposing of all documents that contain personal information. Gather your outdated records and stop by our free shredding event:

Saturday, June 10, 8am–12pm (or until truck is full).
Westbrook Branch, 2 Hannaford Drive, Westbrook, ME, 04092

Items acceptable for shredding:

• Bank Information and Cancelled Checks
• Obsolete Invoices
• Outdated Bills
• Letters, Envelopes, Ledgers
• Mortgage & Loan Information
• Any Other Clean Paper
• Medical Information

Items NOT acceptable for shredding include (but not limited to):

• Accordion Folders
• Cardboard & Cardboard Boxes
• Dark Brown Colored Folders
• Electronics
• Magazines
• Newsprints
• Plastic
• X-Rays

Limit of two boxes per household.

We will be accepting non perishables and donations for the Westbrook Food Pantry!
