Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Saco Splash Pad

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Splashpad Project recently took place on October 29th, marking an exciting step forward for the Saco community!

This project, spearheaded by the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club in partnership with the Saco Parks and Recreation Department, aims to create a vibrant and safe water play area for families.

The splash pad will be located at the Community Center on Franklin Street, offering a fun and free space for children to enjoy during the warmer months. City officials say they hope to have the splash pad open by May of 2025!
