Out-of-Band Authentication: What you need to know
OOBA stands for Out-Of-Band Authentication. This is a form of Two-factor authentication.
When signing into your Online Banking account or as part of a specific secure transaction we will require both a password and a six digit One-Time Security Code that is sent to your mobile phone via SMS text or by using the automated voice call option we provide (See Screen Shots below).
After entering you Login Information you will be prompted to hit the “Continue with Security Code” button.
Next, you will tell us how to reach you either via a phone call or SMS text message (See Below).
If your phone numbers are not listed you may have entered the wrong Login Information.
You can go back to the Login page and re-enter your information or if you have need help you can contact us at our support line at 207-284-4591.
If you chose to receive a phone call, you will get an automated phone call from the bank asking for the One-Time Security Code displayed on your screen as seen below. Once you enter that code on your phone you can click the “Phone Call Completed” button. Once you do that you will be given access to online banking.
If you chose to get a text message sent to your mobile phone you will be presented the screen below. You will need to enter the Mobile phone number where we will be sending the text message with the One-Time Security Code. If your current mobile phone number has not been added to your Online Banking Profile, you will receive an error.
If this happens please contact Customer Support at 207-284-4591.
When you receive your One-Time Security Code via text message you can enter it as seen below.
Once you click the “Submit” button you will be placed into Online Banking.
