“I thought to myself, well, I’m home, so… I just built something.”
Heidi Paulette, like many others, was searching for ways to spend her time while staying at home. She realized puzzles were all the rage, but people were struggling to find them as they were flying off shelves and unavailable online. Searching for a solution, Heidi thought about book swaps she’d seen people installing next to their mailboxes and decided to use her passion for woodworking to create a puzzle swap shed.
She’s part of a Facebook group where people post stuff for free in an effort to reduce waste in the world. She posted when the puzzle trading shed was finally complete, and the interest grew quickly! “Less than 2 weeks ago I posted and now the shed has about 50 - 60 puzzles, with new ones coming in every day,” said Heidi, “people stop to drop off and wave to me in appreciation. I am blown away by the response!”
