SACO, Maine (August 29, 2024) – Saco & Biddeford Savings (SBSI) has proudly announced a donation of $10,000 to the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club in support of their efforts to construct a splash pad for the community. This contribution underlines SBSI’s commitment to fostering family-friendly spaces and supporting local developments that offer recreational opportunities for children and families in the area.
The Splash Pad Project is a community effort led by the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club in collaboration with the Saco Parks and Recreation Department. The project is aimed at creating a new, safe, and fun water play area to enhance outdoor activities and provide a free space where children can cool off during warmer months.

To be located at the Saco Community Center on Franklin Street in Saco, the splash pad will be accessible to residents and visitors, providing a gathering spot to foster social connections and create lasting memories.
