Suzanne Nason, Customer Hospitality Coordinator:
Suzanne and Bob’s love story began in 1989 at the Kerrymen Pub, when Suzanne asked Bob to dance to Have A Cigar by Pink Floyd. They spent the rest of the night talking until 4 AM, discovering they were complete opposites. Bob’s quiet demeanor complemented Suzanne’s zany ways, and the fact that he shared the same birthday as her mom (who had recently passed) felt like a sign. Their first date was at Windows on the Water in Kennebunkport, and two years later, Bob proposed at the same spot. Together, they raised three children and renovated the farmhouse where Bob grew up with his ten siblings. Now, they await the arrival of grandchildren!
Lindsey Walker, Market Manager at our Scarborough Branch:
Lindsey met Charlie when he showed up at a stranger’s birthday party that all of his friends were at—long story short, Lindsey was the stranger! They spent the entire night dancing, and the rest of their story is history. Today, they have a home and a baby together.
Pat Leland, Financial Analyst, and Takara Leland, Account Manager of Personal Lines at Paquin & Carroll Insurance:
Pat shares a picture from an earlier time with his wife, Takara, before they tied the knot. Takara works at P&C Insurance, making it a really special full-circle moment.
Crysta Frost, Financial Services Assistant at S&B Financial Services:
Crysta and her husband, Austin, celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary this past August. The two made a memorable impression at their wedding reception, where they dressed as Batman and Wonder Woman.

Anna Vidoni, Financial Services Assistant at S&B Financial Services:
Anna and Natty’s journey together began at UMaine Orono, where they were both finance majors. The couple continues to share their lives and successes to this day.
Paula Hayward, Assistant Account Manager of Employee Benefits at Paquin & Carroll Insurance:
Paula met her husband, Bruce, on a blind date, and the two have been happily married for nearly 33 years.

Gillian Ballutte, Compliance Manager, and Brian Ballutte, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer:
Gillian and Brian have been married for over 10 years, but their story started 15 years ago when they were both living in Boston. They were randomly paired on the same soccer team in a sports league for young professionals called Social Boston Sports (which no longer exists). From there, their connection blossomed. Today, they enjoy the outdoors as a family, whether it's hiking, going to the beach, or snowshoeing in winter with their daughters, Addie and Margot, and their dog, Sherman.
Bonnie Patterson-Ducharme, Teller:
Bonnie sent a photo of her wedding day, where a touch of Disney magic is visible in the background. Her cake topper featured Cinderella and Prince Charming, reflecting her love of all things Disney. Her husband, Dan, actually proposed on Valentine’s Day, and they’ll celebrate 25 years together in October. Their love story began when Dan’s daughter approached Bonnie in Hannaford and asked, "Mrs. Patterson, would you like to date my Dad?" From there, the rest is history!
Cara Gobeil, Audit Manager:
Cara shares a photo of a wonderful visit to Quebec with her partner, Carl.

Jeannie Stanhope, Executive Coordinator:
Jeannie and Donnie’s love story began in college. They got married in 1987 during Donnie’s Army enlistment years in Germany, and Jeannie finished her degree at University of Maine Farmington as Mrs. Stanhope. Together, they have two children and two dogs.
Bryan Christoforo, Business Loan Officer II:
Brian and his wife Kim met in 1988, dated for 9 years, and married in 1997. They share a love for the outdoors and especially enjoy hiking together in Bar Harbor. Their bond continues to grow as they explore nature side by side.
Laura Crowell, Auditor:
In September 2024, Laura Crowell and her husband Tyler celebrated their 15th anniversary with a trip to Tennessee, combining their love for National Parks and Tyler's NASCAR passion. They stayed in a cozy cabin in the Smoky Mountains, hiked to Clingmans Dome, explored Dollywood, and attended the Bristol Night Race. A quirky stop at the Bush’s Baked Bean museum and time in Charlotte’s art scene rounded out their adventure before returning home to their daughter.
