Telemarketer & Spoofing Scams

We have been notified that there has been increased volume of callers spoofing SBSI phone numbers. These callers may attempt to explain that you are past due or provide other fraudulent claims and try to connect you with a representative.

If you receive an unexpected call from someone claiming to be from Saco & Biddeford Savings, or a call from an employee you do not recognize, hang up immediately. To validate the call you received was legitimate, contact our Customer Care Department at (877) 772-6243 or (207) 284-4591, not the number the caller provides you.

Additional Reminders:

• Be extremely cautious when sharing personal, account, or financial information. If you are suspicious of a caller, do not share information.
• Do not answer calls from unknown numbers, and use phone numbers you have on file to inquire about suspicious calls.
• Review your account transactions and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized transactions to our Customer Care Department .
• If you do give out your personal information and suspect the call was a result of fraud, alert us that your personal information may have been compromised.
