Business User IDs

In the updated system, we’ve made a change: there are no longer separate Company IDs. Now, everyone will just have a User ID. For businesses, we’ve merged your old Company ID and User ID into one. Your new User ID is simply your old Company ID plus your old User ID.

For example, if your prior Company ID was 12345 and your username was JohnDoe, your new User ID will be 12345JohnDoe.

Business User ID Requirements

  • Must be between 4-25 characters, case-sensitive and must include at least one letter and one number
  • Cannot be the same ID assigned to another user in the same company
  • Spaces and special characters are not supported

Business Password Requirements

  • At first login, your password will reset to the last four digits of your Tax ID/EIN
  • Must be between 12-25 characters
  • Must include a combination of three of the four following types of characters: one number, one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one special character
  • Cannot be one of last 4 previously used passwords

Please note that there is no password expiration.

Important note for business customers:

Only full administrators will convert over to the new system. Administrators will need to set up additional users and permissions for non-admin users to grant access the system.

Once you log in, you will be prompted to set up a new two factor authentication (2FA) security measure to protect your account information.

Refer to "Other" for information on how to set up your 2FA.

Update your contact information with SBSI – make sure we have your current phone number and email address on file (Online banking users must have a current phone number on file in order to complete our new security protocols when logging in).

Transfers

Internal transfers will convert over to the new system. However, we recommend printing a list of internal transfers for verification purposes prior to the upgrade to ensure that they convert correctly.

External transfers (transfers to accounts not held with SBSI) will not convert and must be set up again.

Nicknames

Your account nicknames will transfer over.

Alerts

Your existing preferred alerts will not transfer over to the new system.

There are several mandatory alerts that are preset in the new system, such as alerts for Password Changes and Logins from a New Device. If you would like to add to the list of preset alerts, you may do so any time after your first log in.

Online Banking History

On Day 1, you will only see 90 days worth of transaction history on first log-in. After the first log-in, 180 days of transaction history will be available.

Hiding Accounts

Upon your first login to the new online banking platform, all linked accounts will become visible. This includes any accounts you previously hid from your online banking portal. To hide specific accounts again:

  • Select the account you wish to hide
  • Select ‘settings’
  • Under ‘Display Options’, toggle “display in online and mobile banking”
