City of Saco National Night Out

The Saco Police Department invites community members to join them at Thornton Academy to connect with local first responders, School Resource Officers, and other City staff and volunteers.

National Night Out is a nationwide community-building event promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Saco’s event includes the chance to engage with several other City departments, including Saco’s Communications, Fire, Planning, and Parks & Recreation departments, among others.

Community members can stop by the Thornton Academy quad from 5:00 - 7:00PM on Aug. 4 to grab some fresh-grilled dinner and enjoy a variety of kids activities, including:

• Dunk tank, inflatables, and face painting
• Touch-a-Truck displays with Saco Police and Fire departments
• Community partner activities, including visits with Cub Scout Pack 311, Michael T. Goulet Foundation, York County EMA, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and more
• A raffle, including some great prizes!
