Emily Goyet, Residential Loan Officer at Saco & Biddeford Savings, is celebrating her 5 year work anniversary!
“Before joining Saco & Biddeford Savings, I worked at a corporate bank. While I enjoyed my time there, I wasn't fond of the sales goals imposed on customers and I longed for a more community-oriented work environment where I could establish meaningful connections.
My journey with Saco & Biddeford Savings began at our Scarborough branch, where I started as a Teller and was then promoted to Customer Relationship Associate 8 months after. A year after that, I was promoted again, this time to the role of Customer Relationship Officer. I held this position for approximately one year before transitioning to the Loan Department in January of 2022.
As a Residential Loan Officer, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with numerous individuals, both customers and fellow employees. Everyone I've encountered has been exceptional.
The enthusiasm and passion displayed by SBSI employees are truly remarkable. It's invigorating to arrive at work knowing that every person you meet is genuinely enthusiastic about their work, which, in turn, fuels your own excitement.
Furthermore, the sense of community within the bank is outstanding. Every individual takes pride in the city they work in, and we maintain a strong relationship with our community.
Volunteering opportunities and beach clean-ups allow us to actively contribute to the betterment of our surroundings. I am genuinely amazed by the level of involvement we have, and it's something I truly cherish.”
